Your files will be on your computer. Please make sure before installing new window that your hard disk is partitioned and you only format C drive. While keeping your all data on D Drive.Always keep your data on seconday drive other that C driver. This helps whenever you need to do fresh window you’ll files will be safe.

hello admin,i just want to ask something,i already download the windows 7 ultimate iso, then i follow the tutorial on how to use in usb,,,but on the 1st step i browse already the iso file i download but when i press the next button, they tel that the file is not a iso file,,,,why it goes like this,,please help…………………asap
Thats because the ISO file you are using is not valid. Try the original windows 7 iso which I have provided. Otherwise open the previous ISO file in ultraISO and in properties windows do the following:
You Need to Uncheck the Box Joilet and Uncheck The Box Omit ISO 9660 version Number and Check Mark UDF.
This will solve the problem of ISO invalid
You need to use WinToFlash for XP installation. Method is given here. http://getintopc.com/tutorials/how-to-install-windows-xp-with-usb-drive/
There is a tutorial for Windows XP usb installation. its link is here http://getintopc.com/tutorials/how-to-install-windows-xp-with-usb-drive/

Thanks a lot Fatima! This tutorial helped me give a new life to my Acer AOA150 netbook which I had erased to a no-OS state by the Dban method. I downloaded the WIN7.iso image file and WIN7 USB tool and performed this tutorial instructions all from a 32 bit Win XP/SP3 PC. I did not have to come across any trouble or error at any point during the installation process.

Yeah of course. Just plug in USB and then restart. Press F9 for boot options (the button may be different for your PC). Choose your USB Pen drive and installation will start. You can install this on machine which don’t have any operating system. If you face any problems then don’t hesitate to ask me 🙂

I have to thank you because I needed windows 7 or 8 for one of my classes, I was in danger of being dropped from the class because I was so far behind in my work. For about 2 weeks I tried everything to get windows 7 or 8 on my computer and nothing worked. Day and night I was working on this. I was so frustrated and was almost ready to give up when I came across your page and It worked! I am no longer in danger of being dropped from my class. So THANK YOU! The only issue.
Use Universal USB installer.

Don’t worry. You can easily upgrade from windows 7 Starter to ultimate. The starter is not available for 64 bit. Windows 7 Starter only comes with 32 bit. So install it. Then update it. You will be able to do homework. No need to sell it. Keep it and enjoy 🙂 If you hit any issues then let me know and I’ll guide you in detail. Cheers 🙂

Took a bit of fiddling as my vista laptop was full of rubbish and no memory available on c drive but used wife’s windows 7 laptop to prepare the usb and formatted my laptop hard drive. Worked a treat but in tutorials useful to mention once it restarts you need to remove the usb else it starts installation again. Thanks great website have recommended already.
The method to fix is Simply copy the bootsect file to USB once the progress is completed and you get message.
http://getintopc.com/softwares/utilities/bootsect-exe-free-download/You can use this tool.
http://getintopc.com/softwares/utilities/rufus-free-download/You should use rufus tool.

I just setup my new PC, all that is left to do is to download windows 7 ultimate. I downloaded the 64 bit version from this website and also I used a USB device with the Windows 7 USB tool, that I also downloaded from this website, to put the windows 7 ISO file on my USB device. But I only get as far as step 4, where it says, “We were unable to copy your files. Please check your USB device and the selected ISO file and try again.” I did as I was told and still came up with the same result (But I did not re-download the ISO file though). Please help. I already have a license and I just need the windows 7 download.
Also, if anyone knows an easier way of getting windows 7 ultimate on a USB device, please tell me.
Thanks in advance.Use rufus tool.
