Thanks Admin for the great VST.
For those having trouble integrating Kontakt with FL Studio, follow through.
While installing the Kontakt install.exe file, the installer would have asked for paths of 32-bit and 64-bit plugins.
Copy the location of these paths.
Now go to FL Studio and click the “Options” from the menu pannel in top right corner.
Now navigate to “Manage plugins” and a dialog box opens.
Click the add new folder icon above the list of file paths box and browse to the 32-bit path which was mentioned before, the path looks like …..Kontakt 6 Portable x86. The FL Studio will automatically append VST which is good.
Now add the folder path for the 64-bit path in the same way.
After adding the paths click the “Find Plugin” button in the top left corner of the dialog box. This will scan the newly added plugin and the Kontakt plugin gets added.Copying pasting the dll file in the FL Studio VST path won’t work as it was stated in the Kontakt plugin readme file.

Hi Admin, I ran the install.exe and the vst shows up in Cubase 9 PRo, unfortunately I can’t seem to access any libraries when I open it up. Tried ADD button to locate some I had downloaded and I tried the list of libraries available in the 2nd option.

Hey! I found the solution to this problem:
After installing Kontakt, instead of pasting the .dll file to your vst folder, copy the entire folder that you get after extracting the file that you downloaded from the site and then paste it to your vst folder. I was facing the same issue but finally got it solved by this method

Everything works great on my pc so far! However, I noticed that the version of Kontakt I received is called “Kontakt 6 Portable” In the file explorer on my computer… I am just curious if there is a difference between Kontakt 6, and the “Kontakt 6 Portable” I received? Speaking honestly I am not a very tech savvy person, anything helps haha. Thank you Admin!

I seem to have run into a bit of a snag… I cannot get Kontakt 6 to show up in my DAW. I am using studio one 3 pro, which is compatible with Kontakt I am fairly sure, but no matter what I have tried it doesn’t seem to work in the DAW… Can you tell me how to fix this?
Kontakt 6 Portable works outside of the DAW with no issues, so I am confused. Please help. All advice is appreciated.

I am having trouble getting Kontakt 6 portable to load into my DAW. I am using Studio One 3 Pro, and no matter what I do I cannot get it to show up in the DAW. As a stand alone on my computer it works fine, but once I load Studio One up it is like the program doesn’t exist. Any help is appreciated. Thank you Admin.

Please, has anybody faced this challenge? I had to format my system due to an attack from a virus called ‘lokd’. Now, my system is working fine; all softwares and plugins installed perfectly OK. But then, my kontakt seems to not work fine anymore. Although, I’m not using this current version here now; but the one I have was working fine before now – both on stand alone and in my DAW. I have about 12 libraries loaded, but they’re only showing in the library manager – they’re not showing in the kontakt itself….just as you would see in the image below. I installed Native Access and Kontakt 6, followed all instructions in the .txt file, and even got kontakt to open in FL studio, however now the actual library of different instruments that this program comes with is locked behind the “demo” status in Native Access. I opened the library manager in the Kontakt VST and there is nothing there. I wonder if I set something up wrong or perhaps there is a way to manually download all of the instruments and put them in a separate directory, which can then be used for kontakt.

i would suggest download the kontakt 6 portable version and download libraries manually from the internet..cuz i dont think this can be fixed…most of the kontakt libraries or their substitutes can be found there on the net, u can even find many kontakt libraries on this site..its just that u have to manually download it..and in the portable version there is no need to have an account in native access..

Hey, Thank you for the service. i downloaded Kontakt 6 portable and installed it. i also see the DLL. My problem is that Audition is not adding the dll to the vst. i saw your readme file where oyu need in this case to modify it.
Here:
If your DAW can’t see portable VST plugin at the same time as the installed one, modify PluginID in the corresponding section of VST plug-ins settings file (Settings.ini), for example:

………………………………………….After modifying PluginID you need clear cache/rescan in your host
IDs for previous version (Kontakt 5):
NiO5 – Kontakt 5.dll
NiO6 – Kontakt 5 8out.dll
NiO7 – Kontakt 5 16out.dlli dont get it what i need to change. Can you please help me with that. is it like this ?!

Around 98% of the libraries on Native Access’s ‘Installed’ tab are greyed out and say ‘Demo version’. There is no button that says demo/reinstall that I need to click on like it says in the install document, which says whilst it comes up as demo in Native Access it’s actually the full version but I have no libraries in Kontakt at all, what is the fix for this?

portable is kinda illegal ig..cuz u dont have to install native access..as long as u can find libraries and download it from elsewhere other than native access u can use portable version..full setup means kontakt 6 makes link with native access..so u need to have native access account..there are other differences but i only know this much..

I like how you are demanding something you haven’t even paid for, like respect the people who provided this to you for free.
For your query,
You “Can” download any legit Native Access pack from this website, no ones stopping you, then register it using the software provided in the download, yes you have to manually register any pack you download in order to use it, with the legit version of kontakt and native access, your payment would validate the pack on its own, but here since you are pirating the pack, the software (kontakt manager, kontakt patcher or literally the nicnt file usually provided with pirated packs) all of which is provided, is enough to FIX everything

I dont understand users of warez today are so demanding and yet clueless or without real independent thought. There are/were evolutions with Kontakt software and instruments/libraries. The major versioning were 5.5 then 5.6 (with introduction of “Native Access”) 5.6.7/5.7 then 6.0, 6.1 6.4, and 6.6. If you have one library that doesnt work. Dont use it. The software is ALWAYS going to say it needs to update. Yeah even better why dont you have it communicate directly to Native Instruments Authoritative Servers… update to the newest version direct from the source? Hey also let them know how and where you got it so they can serve a DMCA Takedown order?
Also the portable version is different than the standalone VST version and is an inferior version that is a different versioning number as well. Lastly there is a strong chance that if you are using a newer library that it isnt in the database of Native Access (which manages the auth and licensing of Kontakt). That database was created with a comprehensive list of instruments and libraries by those who released the warez. So it is time-dependent and finite. Count yourselves lucky that it works at all. Kontakt is the finest software sampler in the world… literally an industry standard… If you must have an instrument or library run (that maybe you bought with $$)… purchase a license and then you can feel entitled to help and support because you put your money to that rather than …?
