It’s not pre-activated. It asks for licensing and there is no crack available in the zip file you provided. Install the program normally and when it is done you go into the crack folder and there is a dongle backup emulator. Run this dongle emulator and it will restart your computer. When it restarts, be sure secure boot is turned off in your bios or it will not work. When your computer has finished restarting, your program will be cracked and ready to use.

What is the error exactly? I have installed this program several times on a couple of different devices. I always get an error that asks for me to verify a file is there, the options are abort retry and ignore. If you get this error when installing, click ignore for all files and it will install properly. Hope this helps!

To get the permanent version you must run the dongle emulator named “Avid Media Composer 2020 Dongle BackUp” in the “crack” folder. When you do this it will restart your computer and this is why you need secure boot to be disabled in your bios. If you did it correctly, it should work and be activated for you.

Hi Admin!
Please, why is it so difficult for us to have PROPELLERHEAD REASON 10 or even 11 here? And, why is it as well hard for us to have AVID MEDIA COMPOSER 2020.12 or even 2021 here?
We trust you guys capability: no doubt. But on those two (2) softwares, I think you’re failing us already.
Please do something ASAP.

1. Download, unzip and install the original Media Composer. this can take a while. Version 2020.12 works perfectly (link above in an earlier post). Restart when prompted.
2. Upon restarting, enter your UEFI BIOS and disable Secure Boot.
3. Disable (set to minimum) UAC. Disable Antivirus and install Avid Media Composer 2020 Dongle BackUp.exe (this will create automatically the antivirus exclusions for the folder folder C:ProgramDataAvidSWLSettings* (at least in Windows Defender). If in your Antivirus you need to create this exclusion manually, you can only do it after installing the Dongle BackUp.exe. The folders don’t even exist before that so I don’t see how it’s possible to do it before, as mentioned by the OP.
4. Restart when prompted (although you have already disabled UAC manually).
5. Agree to install the unsigned dongle emulator driver.
6. Media Composer never asked me to select “Hardware key” at first start.

when installing, I am getting this error. If i ignore there are more files like this. what to do now admin ?

I have been using this version for almost a year and it has been amazing. This is the only version of avid I could find. Today, however, the dongle emulator seems to not be working anymore. I did go to great lengths to ensure that secure boot/anti virus has not turned back on. Additionally I have restarted my pc several times and uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice. I have also deleted the install and crack files and redownloaded them incase they had somehow become damaged. None of this has worked. Does anyone have any idea why it just randomly stopped working or have a solution on how to fix? My computer is an i5 12600k, PNY RTX 3060, 32GB RAM, with a MSI z690 motherboard running windows 11 home. The program still works fine on my laptop which is i7 11th gen, intel iris xe, 16GB ram, with a Samsung motherboard also running windows 11 home.

the files for installation requirement Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) coud not be found. The installation will now stop.vThis probably due to a failed or canced download
