Can you have adobe media encoder 2019 and 2020 at the same time?
I already have the media encoder 2019, to work with my 2019 adobe software, I was wondering if I could be running both 2019 & 2020 Adobe media encoders, so that I can use the 2020 with this version of After Effects. Alternatively, would it be easier just downloading the 2019 AE instead?

Turn off Windows Defender and make sure Windows is updated to latest version. Also check that you have enough disk space.

If your MP4 files are not imported, it’s possibly because of the codec used to create the MP4 file is not supported by After Effects. If you want to edit these MP4 files in After Effects smoothly, the easy option would be converting the MP4 to an AE compatible format, like MPEG-2, WMV or MOV

So like alot of people if not everyone has a problem with importing videos and ive done some research and it turns out this is a common problem for this version: 17.0.5 Maybe admin you could provide an older version (17.0.4) or everyone should just wait for the update and for the problem to be fixed. You’re very true, just now, I found a website called “getintopca com” and I really thought that was your second website. But it turned out that My Google Chrome browser warns me that the site was FAKE. I’m sure that website is trying to FOOL me into downloading a application. But thankfully Chrome reminded me about that, I almost downloaded a VIRUS!. I was actually trying to download Adobe Premiere Pro portable version since the portable version that I already have on my pc won’t open anymore. Thanks for your explanation.

Hello, Admin. Please, has the various problems been fixed in this version? I’m currently using the November 2019 version of Adobe AE 2020. I noticed the Cineware renderer is not working in it and I have not found a solution to it on the internet.
I always get the error shown in the picture I attached. Is there a solution to this error?
I have not been able to do 3D works in After Effects. I’m planning to download this latest version. Please, can you help confirm if the 3D property is working and can render my works as I work. This is important before I download this file as I don’t want to waste my data bundle because data bundle is expensive in my country.
I will appreciate a quick response. Thank you for the great works.

Ram I suggest 16gb .. ur cpu also a very low, will suffering lag and long render time .. but u still can edit video 360p or 480p but i suggest ram 16gb for after effect .. even 16gb not enough for 1080p edit with fx .. so 6gb ram will suffering lagging a lot .. my rig i5 8300h 3.9ghz with 8gb ram + gtx1050 4gb also got long time render

Installation was flawless. Numerous remarks here, such as “I can’t add any HVEC or H.264 media idk why but it defeats the purpose of having this version up”, and “This is a problem with this version. It does not allow import of any H.264 formated media.”
SOLUTION: Open Media Encoder and import the file(s) triggering the error message and convert file(s) by use of one of the APPLE PRORES Presets (I use 422 HQ). I replace the old file with the newly converted file. Works EVERY time.

Thanks as always for a providing such a brilliant software. Everything works beautifully. Whilst working on a project, however Adobe sent me a warning that I’m using a counterfeit product. I downloaded Ae 2020 and almost everything works fine except the “Adobe Media Encoder” which is missing from this install. As a result im having to export using the lossless format available but a now 16 second 4k file with minor effects renders out to 9.26 GB!
Please help, how can i save in H264 or MP4 format so that i can have an acceptable file size after rendering.Regards,

Media Encoder will only eat up up PC free space. Nowadays, all professionals use after-codecs.Cause it’s only some mb size plugin and it’s even better then encoder. You don’t need any 3rd party software.
You can directly render small size mp4 format video files from your AE or Pr.
If anybody else is reading this, I highly recommend everyone instead of Encoder, use after-codecs

I just saw it, i wasn’t able to get your response due to my account settings i think. In the meanwhile i figured out a way to work without the media encoder by using “handbrake”. I will try out the link you gave for separately downloading the media encoder. Everything else works fine in AE. after installing all your sofwares my system is attacked with virus,they freeze my screen while i was scannig my pc in norton original security and my pc becomes shut down itself. No bro. It’s not a virus. But, the process how a software crack works, is like viruse. As you know that viruses try affect and create changes in applications. So, do crack also try to make changes in applications.
But, Virus affect in Bad way while, cracks don’t.

The file is legit. It’s simple and it’s pretty fast. Only problem was with the download being stuck at 83% for like 2-3 mins. But after that, everything worked out fine. Set up was simple and very straightforward.
For those using Windows 10, you might have a hard time as it uses winrar by default. And that’s a paying thing. Instead use something free like 7zip. Windows 10 might not recognize it, but it’s a good alternative to opening files. Does the job fine and I can see what’s inside the folder too.

its because of your internet connection (I mean your service provider is ultra slow…. for providing download or upload… which sim card are you using vi, airtel, bsnl, jio…. try some broadband of wifi connection… or try changing your service provider.. also try to download at early morning.. because indian service providers does not have power to hold more…users (!BIG CHEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

THANK YOU !!! for your advice but right now im using BSNL wired Broadband with 50MBps[that is 5Mbps, which works fine with no issues]
But Getintopc {I’m not blaming them for less speed, they are trying their best}
and
some other sites with crappy servers give same speed problem
so i asked whether there is any problem from my end

This happens some times when your widows not up-to-date or Maybe your anti-virus was on while you extracted the software. Try updating your PC and if your anti-virus was on while extracting. This time turn it off and extract the software somewhere else then last time (sometime extracting it somewhere else also works too, like maybe extract it on Desktop)

Your GPU (graphics card) is not supported. Sometimes you can ‘Continue with known issues’ and it may still work but it all depends what you are going to be doing. Simple effects may work but for any complicated (GPU intensive) effects it will fail. Best solution to this is to obtain a newer computer system with better GPU. Preferably with a RTX or GTX 2GB Ram GPU or higher. If you want to use After Effects with your current system then use an older version (Pre 2020) of After Effects found on this site. Your Welcome.

its error 86:1. says…. could not read from source, check settings and try again.
i looked this up and it’s suppose to be that it cannot read the file format. that i have to change the format to a different one. before the update i didn’t have this problem. i have media encoderer. and it works ok with premiere pro after the latest update as well… i ended up downgrading to the last version of after effects and it’s working fine. so i’m not sure what is the problem. - #864 written by Damilola 6 years ago
Classic render works but it cannot do much. What I need is the c4d renderer. Please, is the c4d renderer working on yours? Which version of After Effects is that? I really need to know because I don’t want to waste 2.5gig downloading this one if it’s not working well. Data bundle is costly in my country.
