Hi Fatima,
I’d like to know about the phrase “Latest Version Release Version Added on : 5th Oct. 2014” means that all the updates provided by the Microsoft up until this date are included in this ISO. Am I right? Actually I am planning to reinstall my Laptop that came with the licensed version of Home Premium. What I hate is to get into trouble of getting a huge bulk of updates after installation. If all updates are included up to 5th Oct. 2014 in this ISO, then I will be a bit relaxed. Thanks in advance.
Yes. Simply write the ISO on USB or DVD using this link.

AHCI – Advanced Host Controller Interface – this is a hardware mechanism that allows the software to communicate with ATA (SATA) devices. It offers features such as hot-plugging and native command queuing (NCQ). (which most desktop user don’t use)
IDE – Integrated Drive Electronics – IDE is basically the “old” version of AHCI without hot-plugging and NCQ. (This is usually used during the Parallel ATA (PATA) era hard disks)in a benchmark test of a hard drive on AHCI vs IDE you will not see any improvement on writing speed or read speed, but thanks for the correction, what i meant was RAID, i found many times after install windows in a DELL computer that give me a blue screen and the problem was the RAID mode, so need to switch to AHCI, SATA or IDE to solve this problem

Hey there Fatima or Gabriel, If I download this 7 home premium can i use a valid license that I own to keep it? I need to reinstall on an ASUS laptop that the recovery partition was deleted???? I think I found my answer down in comments, I could not download from Microsoft with that license, they said it came preinstalled and to contact manufacturer.

So apparently this is only free for 30 days… Can I keep using it if I use the license provided by the manufacturer? It’s a license for a pre-installed version of Windows so the microsoft website doesn’t offer any support for pre-installed versions. Are you 100% absolutely sure that I can still use a pre-installed license for this? Cause I doubt I can if even the microsoft website doesn’t offer support for it.
i guess you already create the DVD or usb bootable, if yes follow this video https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=A84194DD1881D1E5&id=a84194dd1881d1e5%214130 if not follow this guide to create a bootable media http://getintopc.com/tutorials/windows-7-usb-installation/ good luck

Hi Fatima,
Many thanks for providing us with this ISO, it is very kind and thoughtful of you. I have installed it successfully on my new hard drive but the only problem I’m encountering is with the Windows update not working. When I click on check updates, it acts as though it is working with the green bar searching but it stays like that forever. Have you or anyone else experienced this? I googled the issue and there are many people that have experienced this, with forums going back 5 years. I have tried all the fixes that were suggested from these forums but to no avail; I am left without a solution. Could it be a problem with this ISO? Do you have any advice? Many thanks. - #161 written by migwar 10 years ago
Well, too late now. I left my computer under the control of a Microsoft Tech and now it has no operating system whatsoever. I get a message, that appears to be in DOS, to the effect that some piece of HARDWARE needed to access Windows is missing. Seems odd that a remote tech could remove a piece of HARDWARE from my computer, doesn’t it? Anyway, Microsoft refuses to take any responsibility for the action of its tech personnel which rendered my computer inoperable.
The instructions were to download to my laptop and then install onto a flash drive for use on my “broken” P.C. It wouldn’t download onto the laptop at all. The laptop still works. Even though the P.C. has a license for Windows 7 Home Premium, Microsoft doesn’t care about that and has left me “stranded” by the action of its tech person.

Use Rufus to make usb bootable.
http://getintopc.com/softwares/utilities/rufus-free-download/- #177 written by Mike 10 years ago
The problem is not with the USB drive. The problem seems to be with the file itself. Here are the directions I am following:
1) INSTALL Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.
2) INSERT USB DEVICE.
3) RUN Windows7-USB-DVD-tool SOFTWARE.
4) BROWSE YOUR WINDOWS 8 ISO IMAGE AND CLICK ON Next.
5) THEN CLICK ON USB device
6) CHOOSE YOUR USB.
7) CLICK ON Begin copying.
At step four, it is telling me that the ISO file I have is not valid. Here is the file name of what I downloaded.
