I use Camtasia 2018 daily in my Windows 10, 4 GB ram and Intel Core i3 pc. Camtasia 2018 requires 1.5 GB free space in install directory, how can Camtasia 2021 manage in 500 MB!!! I found lots of lagging issues while editing and rendering a 20 minutes video there(Camtasia 2018), how can 2021 do in 512 MB ram!!!

I’m sure that the above mentioned system requirements are wrong, be aware everybody 🙂

The Webview2 Runtime install failed. Please download and install the WebView2 Runtime Evergreen Standalone installer from here.
Then, run the Camtasia installation again.

  i got same error 6 times, even installed that directly from ms and still same error, it doesn’t work
  Update: i installed to same directory but different hard drive and install fine and works fine. if you got the error, it might have left something in that directory or something so just change directory and should work fine

Regarding Camtasia instructions:
– Unpack, start installer, go with install options, untick auto launch of Camtasia at the end of install.
>>> There is no autolaunch to untick. There is a button “FInished”. I clicked it and the program was launched!

– Don’t launch after install is done.

– Copy 3 patched files from Crack folder to program directory.

– Copy whole TechSmith folder from Crack folder in: C:ProgramData
>>> I have NO C:ProgramData

– Go to program directory, find LegacyCamRecorder.exe, right click on it and click Properties.
Switch to Compatibility tab. At the bottom of the setting page click “Change settings for all users”.
Tick “Run this program as Administrator”.
click OK and save setting.

– Disable Camtasia updater at launch.
>>> Where / How ?
– Use a firewall to block both incoming and outgoing connections of Camtasia. Do not update it.

Should be more clear the instruction.
“Copy 3 patched files from Crack folder” but where to paste it?

The instruction goes like this:

1. After installing camtasia
2. Go to open crack folder, extract it and copy these 3 files
3. Go to camtasia file location and paste these 3 files and replace (path: C:Program FilesTechSmithCamtasia 2021)
4. Go to open crack folder again, copy TechSmith folder. Go to this location C:ProgramData and paste TechSmith folder
5. Now go to the camtasia file location again, you will see LegacyCamRecorder.exe which is red color, right click and go to properties, now switch to compatibility and scroll down or bottom, and click “Change all user settings” and tick “Run as Adminstrator” and then apply the changes and click OK

That’s it. Enjoy!
