Hey guys no need to worry if i are not able to install it. Select install from the file, and wait … The progress bar will fall down . Don’t worry, its normal. I even thought that it is not working. I checked my c drive and did not find the after effects folder. The fix is, go to the extracted after effects file and click install as usual. Wait until the progress bar dissapears. Then install the creative cloud.exe . Then wait for 4 – 5 mins. If it does not exit, then force exit it with task manager. Now wait for some time.. if u find the after effects folder in c drive then u r good to go. But of u don’t find it, don’t worry. Reboot your device and find it. Then if u have AMT EMULATOR( FROM previous version of Adobe software from this website) then find after effects 2017. Don’t worry about the 2017( as this is the 2018 version),, it will work. It worked for me. Then select install, find the amtb.dll file as usual( if u did before or check the tutorials from this website) and all done.. It’s fresh..make sure you are not connected to the internet….
What I said is what worked 4 me. I was also like one of u. Who thought there was an error in the installation, but trust me there isn’t any…

open build then run the last file setup
dont run the installer file adobe
wait after u run the setup file it takes some tym when its done it automatically closes
then search the s/w thats it ul get

your pc needs an update..i had the same problem with many other programs and after i updated the windows the problem was gone,also after windows update you need to install Visual C++ Redistributable..it will only install if your windows was updated correctly..

Hi Sharma,

The latest adobe tools need higher ram. Plus your processor is i3. You can use older after effects otherwise

The fix files may be getting removed by your antivirus or defender. The fix is provided in 2nd download button at bottom whcih says “Click here to get additional fix”

  bro try working on illustratorCC 2017-2020
  i had 4 GB ram and i5 2.70 GHz and it ran illustrator 2019 with no problems. but it can get slow when you have thousands of paths

Hi Everyone! All those who facing problem of not finding After effects in C/ drive during patching should run the last setup not the Adobe Setup as guided in video.. Run Creative cloud setup and just wait for upto 5 minutes.. It worked for me Alhamdulillah 🙂
