Some antivirus programs remove the Nexus3.4.4.dll file. Disable antivirus (or add this file to the exceptions)
1. Mount the Nexus 3 Installation Files.iso image
2. Find the Copy to folder Nexus Content in the mounted image , open it and copy the Presets folder . Go to the path where you saved the files from this distribution, namely to the reFX Nexus 3 folder and in it to the Nexus Content and paste the copied Presets folder
3. Find the Copy to DISK C folder in the image and copy the Users folder from it and paste it into the root of Disk C (open Disk C and paste the Users folder into this location)
4. Also from the Copy to DISK folder, copy the VST folder to the folder where your plugins are stored. For example C: Program Files Steinberg VSTPlugins
5. Go to the path C: Users Public Documents reFX nexus (aka Drive C: Users General Shared Documents reFX nexus) and open the settings.json file with notepad
6. Find the line “library_folder”: “E: \ reFX Nexus 3 \ Nexus Content”, and change this path E: \ reFX Nexus 3 \ Nexus Content to your own to the Nexus Content folder. Please note that the path uses two characters \ and then save the changes in this file

Any help guys, Please my .dll file is not even recognized in the plugin manager tab although it appears below it that its scanned. After scanning it vanishes,any help please. I have turned off all antivirus and windows defender and also reinstalled it several times. Your assistance would be really appreciated. Thanks

GUYS I HAVE IT:
If it’s asking for email and password, you didn’t move the Documents folder correctly, you have to move it to
>>> “C:UsersPublicDocuments” <<<
not "C:UsersDocuments” https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1db91c55119f297cf2707b6656633d362634a02ee6f6285d9c631f017f5fa72d.pngIt may seem that the folder “Public” isn’t on your computer, just type it into path bar like in the picture.
Faq:
Q: Presets throw error “Nexus is too much outdated”
A: Nexus2 presets don’t work with Nexus3 and throw an error and don’t make any sound, just reload the plugin in your DAW.
Note: If you want to get the factory bank of Nexus2 into nx3, download the Factory bank presets from the .iso torrent file and “Rom” samples from the “Nexus ContentSamplesRom” folder of the torrent, as explained below.Q: How to reload sample/preset library?
A: For FL Studio, you need to do a RESTART of the whole program, reloading the plugin doesn’t work.Q: How to install samples with presets and expansions?
A: From the Magnet torrent link, you will find the big directory containing all the samples, called “Nexus Content”. Download the desired expansion subfolder and put it in the “C:UsersPublicDocumentsreFXSamples” folder.
For actually using the files, you need to download the presets for those samples, which are all located in the “Nexus installation files.iso” drive, in the torrent. For some expansions a licence is required, but don’t worry, all of them are in the torrent “Nexus ContentLicences”. Download the .key files and put them in the same “C:UsersPublicDocumentsNexus ContentLicences” folder.Note: Factory bank samples are in the “Nexus ContentSamplesRom” folder of the torrent, presets are called “Factory Presets” in the .iso file in the torrent.
Q: Expansions require a licence
A: As explained above, from the torrent, get all the “Nexus ContentLicences .key” files and put them into “C:UsersPublicDocumentsNexus ContentLicences” folder. Although there are only 3 .key files, they make all expansions work.- #110 written by blndethggr 3 years ago

Installation on WINDOWS:
1- Unpack the archive and copy the folder named “VST” to your VST directory
2- Open the folder called “refx” then “nexus” and then open the file called “settings.json” with note-pad and in the “library_folder” string change the path to your current nexus contet (the fat +160gb folder) AND DOUBLE EACH SLASHES
EXAMPLE: “library_folder”: “D:\reFX Nexus Content Full 170 GB WORKiNG\Nexus 3”,
3- Copy the ENTIRE “refx” folder to: ” C:UsersPublicDocuments ”
