well I am sorry, I can’t verify which file was it because I removed everything but there is no way I got it from somewhere else because I download only from here and it happened during installation time but I deleted all 3 or 4 softwares that I downloaded at that time and I only posted this comment after 3 or 4 days. Just wanted to let you know but I can guarantee 100% that I got it from here, even it happened only once from a lot of softwares I have downloaded, I don’t wanna sound like I am complaining because I am thankful for your service, just thought would be good to let you know.

can you shut up… you got a virus from something else not this.
ive uninstalled fl and reinstalled it back with this same program many times and never had a problem with any virus. people like you need to just stop assuming you got a virus from places like this when you know you got it from somewhere completely different- #38 written by todd 5 years ago
no smwfreak. he got the virus fro xpand because during the installation of xpand he got a window that popped up saying “allow PACE Anti-Piracy to make changes to your device” he clicked yes because in the video the person clicked yes and then when his computer told him to restart he fell for it and got the blue screen of death. so no in the file of xpand there is a virus i swear to you this and i think this isnt Get Into PC fault though

Hi, I was looking to download a new VSTs on my “Brand New” PC(I just took out the box) so tried to install this software.
As much as I hate to admit, the people getting virus reports are a 100% right. This installation contains several malicious files that made my PC act weird and it took me a while to identify and remove them. Now, with that said, I have to confirm that the program runs like an absolute charm. And for the people wondering. It works in Both 32 and 64 bit. So many thanks to admin(s). Amazing website! - #45 written by A M 5 years ago
PLEASE READ IT! VIRUS GOT REMOVED!
I downloaded Xpand2 and installed it instantly. During installation it asked me to allow something like PACE Anti-piracy software and finally prompted to restart the PC. After restart, some random windows popped up from smss.doom virus and taskeng.exe command prompt file was automatically executed. It blew my mind when FL Studio (20.6 version) was running with administrative privilege despite I didn’t do anything. After a while, iLok license manager started updating Xpand2 and instructed me to put the serial code. It was all terribly annoying.
BUT…
This is what did for an experiment:
1. Deleted iLok license manager.
2. Uninstalled Bonjour from control panel.
3. Went to Task Manager > SatrtUp … and set priority of the two smss.doom programmes to LOW.
3. Restarted the PC.AND NOW, EVERYTHING IS RUNNING AS SMOOTH AS BEFORE.
Please share yout opinions because I am still unsure what’s going on here.
Thank you!

okay i understand now that if i let the PACE anti piracy make changes to my device and then restart, i get the blue screen of death but xpand was working fine until i restarted my computer but i finally got rid of the blue screen and now i have another question. is there anyway i can download xpand without downloading Ilok licenser, bonjour, and PACE anti-Piracy

The Comments Here Indicate that there is some kind of a virus in this program that causes the computer to crash.
Seems that the cause is the PACE anti-piracy app.
SO for the people who have installed the app with no problems, does clicking “don’t install” when the PACE tab opens solve the issue?
I’m very worried about installing this program.Thank You.

i don’t know but this file is obsolete! i also had the same problem installing this thing. i don’t recomand it. my computer literraly crashed down after rebooting it! looks like that PACE thing is a virus got a cmd opened on sys:32. my antivirus has warned me then i did it anyway. it apears that it is even a trojan running in some kind of script! It also changed my “previlegies rights on my computer”. that’s what i found out after my antivirus scan! i managed to get everything back to normal by normally desinstalling everything you don’t need to restore anything. but to get rid of the bluescreen, you’ll need to be abble to access your “task manager” (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and end the PACE or ILOP task (not sure under which name it appears anymore) and restart your explorer.exe. Now you can start the desinstalling process using the “Control Panel”. This is what i’ve done to repair this problem… Just don’t panic and you’re computer will be up and running again… hope it helps

Yeah the Software is strong, I got blue screens like 3 to 4 times before I figured it out. So you go ahead and install, and then go to your apps and features and uninstall the PACE ANTI-PIRACY! that’s the bug! don’t restart until you have uninstalled the Pace thingy! Enjoy and thanks to getintopc staff

bro i installed it successfully and it works fine, while installing i kept my antivirus on and after the installation was completed instead of restarting i went to fl studio and opened it but it said it failed to open reinstalling might fix it so i didn’t reinstall it again and i shutted down my pc and the next day i tried to open it again but it was still the same, it failed so then i restarted my pc and it worked perfectly fine so just trust your antivirus and dont restart your pc problem solved
