Greetings admin and everyone.
Thanks a lot admin I just installed SW 2018 SP4 and it’s functioning.
Perhaps this is not the right place but if possible please I wish to understand why for example the SW 2018 SP4 requires a better processor than the SW 2020 SP0. IS it that the SP 2020 version has less functionalities than the SP4 2018 for example? I just want to understand that fact. I have searched on youtube and reallly do not know what to type as the prompts i searched for did not give me results I was looking for. I will be glad If you can explain to me or share a link to a youtube video where I can understand the whole concept.
I also wish to know what the fix files are for since it was not used in the installation video.
I also wish to ask what if in the future I want to activate the SW simulation flow, SW inspection and some other products that were not activated in the installation? How can I do it actually or must I uninstall and reinstall?

Hii ,while installation when serial no is automatically filled as I am following the steps given by readme file. But just after that he is checking for internet to conform the serial no. And if i cancel that it says when you open the solidworks your serial no will be checked as now it is not possible due to bad connection.plz help

“file not found opening [my file directory]/introsw.pdf.
You must select the MANUALS Check box during installation to include this file.”

When selecting “next” in the install manager during the serial number selection step I receive the following error message: “The 2019-2020 education and student editions cannot be installed. Please try again witha new download or DVD after the 2019-2020 version is released.”
