Tips to solve the abaqus warning where license must point to an existing file during Abaqus CAE initiation.
Do not follow the guiding video to skip the license configuration but stick to the readme txt file by key in the 27800@localhost in the License server 1 after choosing Flexnet Server.
Before start the setup, follow youtube video to (set the environmental variable) using system variable.
Variable: NOLICENSECHECK
Value: true (small letter)

With this step, just u can the 27800@localhost can be applied. Do email me if u need further explanation. [email protected]

  Hi, I am writing this because this issue was faced by me as well and i didnt find any help here.
  This error can be of two reasons
  
  1. When installing the abaqus you need to provide the license server details. In read_me file you have below line mentioned:
  “In window for “SIMULIA FLEXnet License server” input for “License Server1″: 27800@localhost”
  
  So if you write the “License Server1″: 27800@localhost” then this error will occur. what the author meant by this is to write it as below
  “License Server1”: 27800@desktop_name”
  Now to get the desktop name of your pc go to settings->system->about->desktop_name (In windows 10).
  
  If you have done above thing correctly then go for 2nd step.
  
  2. In read_me file it is not mentioned to unzip the below file…
  “SSQ_UniversalLicenseServer_Module_DSSimulia_20180127185300”
  
  So please unzip the above file into the same folder where you have unzipped the
  “SSQ_UniversalLicenseServer_Core_20180127074300”
  
  and then run “install_or_update.bat” as run as administrator.
  
  I hope these two steps will solve the issue.

I downloaded ABAQUS while watching the video, and I did the exact same thing until 5:30 in the video.
By the way, as shown in “Readme.txt”, when the “license simulation configuration” appears, I should select “Simulia FLEXnet” and write the code “27800~~”.
But is this what you are talking about within the Abaqus Licensing app?
The “License Server configuration” window dosen’t appear, so I don’t know where to type “27800~~”.
When I run Abaqus in this state, the black Cmd Window turns off in 0.1 seconds and the CAE Program dosen’t run.
Is there anything else I need to set aside frome what you uploaded to the video?

  The steps in the video are correct. If the license window doesn’t appear, make sure the FlexNet License Server is running. Enter 27800~~ there. Also, temporarily disable antivirus/firewall if Abaqus closes immediately.

I have successfully installed Abaqus and confirmed that general analyses run perfectly. My goal now is to enable User Subroutines (UMAT).

I’ve completed the setup for Visual Studio and Intel Fortran. To verify the linkage, I’ve been repeatedly testing the environment by modifying the abaqus_v6.env file and running the abaqus verify -user_std command.

While I’ve managed to resolve the compiler/linker recognition issues, I am now stuck on a persistent licensing error. Every time I run the verify command, it returns: ‘Abaqus Error: License for standard is not available.’

Is this a known limitation of this specific crack version, or is there a way to force the license manager to recognize the subroutine tokens?

  Abaqus/Standard (required for UMAT) does not have a valid license token. Your setup (Visual Studio + Intel Fortran) is correct. But UMAT needs Abaqus/Standard license. Cracked versions usually don’t support this properly

one way that worked for me is,
1.go to abacus folder, launch the abaqus licensing , start server.
2. now run abaqus cae.
Dont know why it is happening but this is the way around i have found.
